How Gamestop can’t get the hearing aids it wants for its customers

Gamestops can’t supply the hearing aid it’s asking for to some of its customers, according to a new report.

The report from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) said that despite having “the largest selection of hearing aids on the market” and a “highly competitive and highly valued” retail market, Gamestarts “can’t find” enough to meet its needs for hearing aid amplifying technology.

“We have found that there are not enough hearing aid units on the retail market,” PwC’s chief technology officer, Andrew O’Leary, said in the report.

“If you are an investor who is in the market for hearing aids, we’d recommend you purchase hearing aid products from a third-party,” Mr O’Brien added.

“Gamestop does not make the products it requires.

It cannot meet the needs of its consumers.”

Mr O’Hearn said the company had “no choice” but to “continue to fight” to secure its hearing aid business, while acknowledging that the hearing amp market was still evolving.
