On Friday, the US Army’s official website will host a hearing for the Army’s former chief of staff, General Robert E. McDonald, and his colleagues in charge of investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against Army officials.
It’s not clear when the hearing will take place, and the Army did not respond to requests for comment.
The Army has faced criticism from some of its officers and other members of Congress who have accused senior officials of mishandling the investigation into the sexual assault of several female soldiers and officers.
McDonald is expected to testify, and several Republican lawmakers, including Senators Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Cory Booker of New Jersey, have called for him to resign.
McDonald has denied the allegations.
